PAT expands its sterilisation and animal welfare work to Huay Sai Nue, a rural area outside Cha-am in Phetchaburi.
Teamwork in Action: PAT’s Mobile Clinic in Kaeng Krachan
Behind every successful mobile clinic is a team of people who make it possible – and our latest outreach in Kaeng Krachan was a perfect example of what can happen when everyone works together for animals in need.
Over three busy days, the team sterilised and vaccinated 64 dogs – 43 females and 21 males. That’s 64 animals who will no longer contribute to Thailand’s stray dog population, 64 animals now protected against deadly diseases like rabies, and 64 lives made healthier and safer.
But numbers alone don’t tell the full story. What truly made this clinic special was the spirit of collaboration that brought it to life.
- The PAT team and volunteers worked tirelessly, preparing the space, caring for each animal, and ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
- The Kaeng Krachan Department of Livestock Development joined forces with us, providing veterinary expertise and hands-on help that made a real difference to both the animals and the local community.
- Mr. Pimon and the Kaeng Krachan Country Club generously offered support – as well as the time of their staff, who helped us throughout the clinic.
- And on the ground, Mr. Noo and Uncle Joy played a vital role in identifying and safely catching the dogs who needed care.
Every one of these contributions – big or small – added up to something extraordinary. It’s this kind of teamwork that allows us to reach animals in remote areas and create lasting change for both dogs and people.
Together, we’re not just helping animals – we’re building stronger, kinder communities.
Thank you to everyone who made the Kaeng Krachan mobile clinic such a success.
Every act of compassion helps move us closer to a future where all animals in Thailand can live healthy, safe lives.
